Exclusive in-house technical services supplier, Avantage, has proudly launched their new brand and website www.avantage.com.au. Although the web address may be the same, the new brand is designed to reflect the company change of ownership to being 100% owned by Solution RED.

Using an easy-to-navigate layout, the new website details Avantage’s technical services delivered along the eastern seaboard. Avantage has dedicated technical teams located in-house at Atlantic Group [v] at Central Pier, Docklands, RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast and Swissotel in Sydney. In addition to the specialist understanding of each venue gained by being in-house, the support of Solution RED ensures Avantage now has access to a wider range of award winning creative services to compliment any event, meeting or conference from a large extravagant production to smaller intimate evenings.

Mao’s Last Dancer premieres with the help of Avantage!

Mao’s Last Dancer, the incredible story of Li Cunxin’s dancing career from communist China to Houston, America, made its Australian movie premiere with the help of Avantage last month.

The State Theatre in Sydney played host to the September 21st launch in which Avantage, in partnership with Solution RED, delivered technical services including vision, audio and technical recording staff for the evening.
Australian based Cunxin and his wife, Mary McKendry, both attended the screening of the movie detailing Li’s empowering tale of rise from poverty, ‘discovery’ as a dancer, and ultimate deflection to the United States. Mao’s Last Dancer the movie is based on Cunxin’s autobiographical book of the same name.

Avantage was delighted to contribute to the successful premiere of such an inspiring and moving film!
 

The Atlantic Group [v] wins best corporate event at the Australian Event Awards

The Atlantic Group [v], located at Central Pier Docklands has won this years’ Best Corporate Event at the Australian Event Awards for the Atlantic On Site catering launch.

The October 2008 launch, held in a disused West Melbourne car park, demonstrated the Atlantic On Site flexibility – that the team can cater anywhere, even a derelict old urban space.

With the help of creative event services company, Solution RED, the neglected space was transformed into three fully integrated and unique event themes – an urban back alley, a serene Asian inspired organic garden and a modern, white industrial space.   Over 500 guests attended the event, in what would become an occasion that is still highly spoken about in the events industry.
